Sensible concept car shwon Geneva March 2004 has inflatable rear seat, sliding electric doors, push button roof hatch for carrying tall objects upright, foldaway passenger seat, rear drawer type luggage rack. 3,022mm long. Engine is 1.3 CDTi (FIAT's 1.3 Multijet).
Upgraded a 2005 "old" model Zafira 1.8 auto for this "new" model 1.8 Easytronic.
Easy it isn't - it is a crashing harsh poorly designed gearbox.
Just awful to drive. It has whiplash inducing upshifts in full auto mode, and the manual mode is idiotic in its operation to say the least: it will "kick down" from 5th to 3rd @70 mph when you accelerate, but then you have to manually re-upshift!!
Parking/ hill starts etc are an absolute chore as it will not "hold/ creep" in drive
It has a lot of space, very versatile with its clever seating system, and has average performance for an MPV.
